Curious about being an Observer?
Read below!

What do observers do during the session?

Observers watch quietly, take notes if they’d like,

and learn the discussion format. They do not

speak or interact during the session.

Why does Think Tank HQ allow observers?

Some people feel more confident participating

after seeing a session in action. Observing helps

new attendees understand the structure and

expectations without the pressure of being

filmed.

Will observers be on camera?

No. Observers sit behind the camera line and are

not visible in recordings.

How many times can I observe?

You may observe up to three sessions per month.

After that, you'll need to participate in one live

session before requesting observer status again.

Can I observe every month without

participating?

No. The observer role is intended as a temporary

support, not an alternative way to attend

sessions. After three observations in a month,

you must participate once before requesting

future observer spots.

Can I film as an observer?

No. For the privacy and safety of every

participant, no filming or photography is allowed

during the session, apart from official Think Tank HQ

recording. Personal photos or recordings may be

taken before or after the session, but never while

discussion is in progress or participants are seated.

Violating this rule will result in immediate removal

 from the event.

How do I sign up to observe?

Choose the “Observer” option on the standard

Think Tank HQ session submission form. Your

request will be reviewed before spots are

released to the public.
